    Disaster Response & Field Support

When hurricanes, floods, and wildfires strike South-East Texas, Ruff Rough mobilizes trained teams, drones, and field units to recover animals, support shelters, and stand beside emergency responders.

    Where We Deploy

Our field operations are scaled and equipped for the disasters that most threaten animals in our region.

    Hurricanes & Tropical Storms

Pre-positioned teams deploy ahead of landfall to support evacuations and post-storm recovery of displaced animals.

    Floods & Flash Flooding

Drone reconnaissance over inaccessible flooded areas locates stranded dogs for ground-team water rescue.

    Wildfires

Thermal drones identify animals in smoke-obscured zones; ground teams coordinate with fire crews on safe entry windows.

    Mass-Casualty & Severe Weather

Field triage support, temporary sheltering, and reunification logistics in coordination with local emergency operations.

    Field Capabilities

    Emergency Coordination

Active liaison with county emergency management, sheriff's offices, and animal control during activations.

    Mobile Field Units

Self-sufficient response vehicles with crates, medical supplies, drone equipment, and 72-hour autonomy.

    Volunteer Network

Trained disaster-response volunteers on call across South-East Texas for rapid mobilization.
