Disaster Pet Rescue
When disaster strikes, pets need heroes. Ruff Rough deploys rescue teams to save animals during hurricanes, wildfires, and floods.
Our Disaster Response
Hurricane Rescue
When hurricanes strike, pets are often left behind in evacuations. Our teams deploy to flood zones to locate stranded animals, provide emergency shelter, and reunite pets with their families. We've supported rescue efforts during Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Beryl, and more.
Wildfire Response
Wildfires devastate communities and displace thousands of pets. Ruff Rough works with local shelters and first responders to rescue animals from fire zones, provide temporary fostering, and deliver supplies to evacuation centers. Our work during the Lahaina wildfires saved hundreds of animals.
Flood Operations
Flash floods and rising waters create life-threatening situations for pets. Using boats, drones, and ground teams, we navigate flooded areas to rescue trapped animals. Our Drones4Dogs unit provides aerial surveillance to locate animals in hard-to-reach areas.
