What We Do
Ruff Rough is a * 501c-3 non-profit non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating acts of heroism and extraordinary actions in dog rescue. We recognize both the dogs and the humans involved in these inspiring stories and shine a spotlight on their actions through various media outlets. Our team rewards these heroes with gift cards from Petco, Chewy, Pets R Us, and Amazon, accompanied by a plaque engraved with their name and the date of their remarkable act. * EIN #87-4745143
Our activities at Ruff Rough focus on three main areas:
Field Support
Ruff Rough extends its support to other non-profit organizations dedicated to the well-being and rescue of dogs. We understand that it takes a village to create change, and we are committed to contributing to the collective effort. Additionally, in the aftermath of climate disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires, our team offers logistical support and aid to areas in need, ensuring that no pet is left behind.
Drones4Dogs is a unit of RuffRough.com. It’s an extension of our Mission to provide Search & Rescue Drone operations in a triangle of locations in Southeast Texas to assist in the recovery of a lost or missing K-9.

Donation Utilization
We ensure that every donation we receive is used effectively and efficiently. Each contribution to Ruff Rough goes directly towards supporting our initiatives, including rewarding the heroes of dog rescue, providing aid to other nonprofits and post-disaster areas, and developing and maintaining our Sky Rescue service.
